design for disaster
After a disaster has struck, the number one need for those affected is shelter. In this project, we were to create a public service announcement educating the public on temporary disaster relief housing. This house could not be more than 400 square feet, must sleep at least four people, be easily transported and put together on site, and provide shelter and security for those living there. This house was designed by myself and classmate, Katie Piechnik. Sketch-up rendering by Taylor Allen
